Starting your Toybag on a budget

Boy the writing bug has hit me today, lol well I finally got some of my thoughts together and have a few extra minutes...

Bargains abound to the inventive and creative Top. Around the brat compound, it is not known as Home Depot, rather the Dom Depot..lol Here are a few, inexpensive items that can and should be added to your toy bag.

Pig slapper.. these can be found at Farm and fleet, or if you don't have them near you, try a farm supply place. A nifty little piece of leather, well actually 2 pieces of leather sewn together. Most brats love them, they give a nice slap. They sound like you're giving more than you are. My last one cost under 3 bucks

Wooden paddle..any store that carries toys will most likely have large wooden paddles used for ball games. Made of laminated wood, they are about 3/8 of an inch thick and just right for spanking. Unlike paddles found on most spanking sites, you can give a wallop with them. They don't carry the weight that a solid wood paddle does so they don't leave marks as easily. I've found sets of them (balls included) for under 4 bucks.

The solid plastic rods on most mini-blinds are excellent for a rather stingy effect on a brats ass. I usually have a couple in my bag at all times. Not quite as bad as a nice cane, but they definately get a brats attention. Just remember, the thinner and heavier an implement, the easier it is to leave marks.

Dom Depot carries large paint stir sticks in thier paint department. If you ask them nicely they will usually give you a couple free of charge. A they give a great sting to the brats ass, just be careful as they will mark a brats ass easily.

SPATULAS!!!! another great stingy implement. I have several small ones now but am looking for a larger commercial one. I had one but it mysteriously disappeared.. I'm talking about the plastic ones used to clean out jars etc. The metal and wooden ones used to flip burgers work great also, but again you have to watch closely for marks.

I got my braided leather riding crop at farm and fleet for 3 bucks. they also carry cheap crops and braided whips, usually under 5 bucks. A farm supply should carry them also.

Leather belts can be had at any clothing store, but a saddle supply will carry thicker leather belts used for horse harnesses.

If you checkout Goldis she has several starter kits reasonably priced. While you're there, check her site out. I would highly recomend to anyone joining this site. Just navigating the free areas you can tell this is a labor of love by Goldi. You definately get your moneys worth from her.

Most dollar stores I have been in have various wooden hairbrushes that make excellent "attention getters"

Cheap womans sandals make excellent implements. They really get a brats attention. lol I like these so much, ask any brat and they will adamantly tell you, SANDALS ARE FOR FEETS ONLY"

Also, hit the garage sales, you'd be amazed at what you can find, CHEAP!!!! a sadistic, ingenious mind will need but look and have a head full of ideas.

Garage sales goodies

I am an avid garage saler, during the summer months my weekend mornings are spent hitting the garage sales.(by noon most of the bargains have been snatched up)
This summer has been a good one for me, I've gotten some great deals and found some gems to add to my implement bag.
Last weekend I found a "Board Of Education" for 50 cents.

I have been looking for one for a couple of years now, couldn't believe it when I found it. Remember them from school days? Our grade school principal always had one with him it and was never afraid to have errant students bend over in the hallways,classrooms or wherever he found them.
I also found 4 wooden paddles, great shape. They were used for some kind of ball game. The larger 2 are the perfect size for spreading the blow out over the entire ass. A little sanding down and they will be ready for use. The next 2 are about 2 inches smaller in diameter and covered with velcro on one side. I will sand down the wooden side and cover the velcro with fur and they will be ready for use.
I picked up a rope thingy that ,near as I can figure, is for attaching to a doorknob and exercising with. It is set up perfect for attaching my padded cuffs to and attaching to the ceiling. (for them playful or harsher times) Got that for a buck, figuring the snaps and attachements would run around 12 bucks I came out good on it.
I picked up a weight bench and weights for 10 bucks. The weights will make excellent anchors for the boat. I will modify the bench to use in my fun and games. I find weight benches the best and easiest way to secure a brat for fun and games. A simple belt or 2 (I get the large belts) will secure the brat to the bench by looping it over them and around the bench. It places thier rear the perfect heighth for spanking or playing, and with a small modification, they can be set the right heighth for entering them. I like the weight benches because they are wide enough to offer the brat a place to rest upon, yet thin enough that,positioned right, thier breast hang off each side.
At the same garage sale I picked up a sony HandyCam for 5 bucks. It came from Australia and the plug was setup wrong for our current. However reading the adapter, I found out it was able to handle our current just fine. Cutting the end off and splicing a plug onto it was easy. So for 6 bucks I got myself another toy and hopefully will be able to get some nice flicks.
Now to get a brat to try out all the new toys.

Implements..

I guess I would have a hard time answering the question "Which implement do you prefer?". I have many preferences, depending upon my mood and what effect I'm trying to get.
I'll usually start with my hand, get the skin nice and warmed up. A good warm-up will make for longer spankings. If it's a disciplinary spanking the second stage will be with my hand also, this time harder with more effect to the spanks. Usually it gets the brat thinking pretty good about what is coming. when I feel I've done enough with my hand, I'll usually take a break and let the brat think about what is to come, not a long one, just long enough to give them a brief respite. Then I will position the brat, usually bent over at the waist, hands on a chair or bed. This keeps the skin semi-taunt and yet relaxed.
Next I will begin with the implements, I have a variety of wood paddles that I will use, starting with my largest one, this spreads the spanks out evenly over the entire rear, making for a longer lasting yet deeper spanking. After this I will use my hand for a bit, then go to the next size down wooden paddle. I have several sized wooden paddles and I repeat this procedure with each. For the finale I will switch to a stingy implement, lexan,strap,belt or sweatscraper. These are quite effective in getting the brat dancing and tears flowing. Once I feel the brat is at that point of release, I will finish off with my hand, brat over my knee. Depending upon the brat this usually last until they are sobbing uncontrollably or the fight has left them. After the release, I will hold them and let them know the offense is F&F (forgotten and forgiven) I will hold them for however long it takes for them to gather themselves, reassuring them, letting them know they are loved.
An erotic spanking is different in the fact that I have FUN and try and make sure the brat does also. I mix it up alot and make games out of the spanking, like "guess the implement" in which I will drag an implement across her bare behind and she gets to guess it, if shes wrong she gets 10 swats with it, if shes right I don't use that implement. An erotic spanking I still use alot of implements, but not the force or steady repetition that a discipline spanking has. I will vary the positions more and try and make her as comfortable as possible.
Either way, most brats will feel either spanking for the next 3-4 days. Not a sharp stinging pain, but rather a dull ache. For the next few days they will have a reminder of the spanking everytime they sit down.
A discipline or erotic spanking need not be a brutal thing, never spank out of anger or spite. Watch your brats actions and behind, they will tell you everything you know to be a responsible spanker. Bruises happen, but if you are careful, give proper warm-ups, and watch for hotspots,take breaks when you see they are needed, have ice or lotion ready, and you can advoid most all of them. I see pictures on the net of badly bruised asses and it sickens me, I guess that is the difference between a loving spanking by someone who cares, and a beating by some asshole with a stick.
Ladies, you can help advoid bruises by letting the spanker know if you are on aspirin, blood thinners, or blood pressure meds. If possible stop taking them a week or so before you know you are going to be spanked. (I am not a DR so check into that with someone qualified) If you spouse or SI is doing the spanking, no worries, but if you have a spouse or SI that isn't into spanking and you must go outside of the relationship, take precautions.

Introduction..again

Having wiped out my complete blog, didn't like the wat I was coming off, I have decided to start again.

I am know as SOS,Sultan of sting, in the spanking world. A name I chose myself, but have been told many times it is fitting, As the name implies, I am a Top/spanker, I don't switch.

I love everything about spanking, from the pre-spanking lecture to the cornertime afterwards. Nothing is quite so lovely as a womans freshly spanked rear, as if it wasn't lovely enough, just add some color to it.
To put it poetically, a womans rear is a canvas and I am the artist. My hands are the brush and the blush I add is the painting.

Right now I am not involved in a lt spanking relationship, but I still spank when the oppertunity arises. It is hard at times for me but I have plenty of fresh memories and know there will be plenty memories to come.

I prefer to be called a Top over any others, Dom,spanker,etc. Guess it's just a fancy way of saying, I'm a top who cares about the one he is spanking. I keep a check on my needs and desires while making sure the spankees needs and desires are met. of course that's not to say I don't enjoy what I do, I love it.

Anyways in the months and years to follow, i hope to become aquainted with all of you, maybe meet you at a party (I attend a few thru the year) I'll be using this blog to share experiences, air out thoughts and sometimes just throw a rant..(I've been know to be quite opinionated)
